What are the last three books you've read?
Nick Hornby's A Long Way Down
Tucker Max's I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell
Christopher Buckley's Thank You for Smoking
Do you own an iPod?
Yes, 30 gigs of aural enjoyment named Cho's bad-ass iPod.
Favorite new music artist?
The Shins
Favorite writer?
Nick Hornby
Who is your favorite fashion designer?
A lot of my work-week attire comes from Burberry and Banana Republic.
Favorite suit maker?
Hugo Boss.
What's the next clothing item that you are thinking about purchasing?
Brown shoes. So, this in turn has created a need for more brown/natural colors in my wardrobe.
Place you'd most like to visit outside U.S.? Next foreign vacation?
I have a friend who would like to me to visit him in Denmark. I've been leaning toward having him meet me in Amsterdam instead.
Favorite travel destination? Favorite U.S. city?
Every time I'm in NYC I enjoy myself. The constant movement fits me well. Plus, there is always something new going on. Vegas is fun for the first 24 hours and after that I'm on the phone trying to get on an earlier flight home.
What blogs are you reading regularly?
Thesneeze.com is good, particularly the “Steve, don't eat it” section. Gapingvoid.com is always interesting.
What do you think of the increasing trend of corporate social responsibility and cause-related marketing (e.g. Red, Global Green, ONE, 10//2, etc.)? What companies are doing it right?
I think it's great that these social causes are being brought before the public by those with the loudest voices. If nothing else, these campaigns create dialogue about the causes. The ONE campaign had an outstanding marketing campaign that showcased the personalities that supported the cause and their actions, i.e. Live 8.
What was your favorite recent GQ article and why did you like it?
Style Guy should be essential reading for boys in grade school and beyond. You should know the rules before you decide to flaunt them. The Verge Celebrity NBA Challenge (January 2007) was outstanding. And the coverage over the past few months of the rebuilding (or lack thereof) of New Orleans and the War in Iraq have been eye-opening. Both provided new perspectives that I've been able to use in the forming of my own opinions of these events.
Top 5 most played songs?
Evanescence - Call Me When You're Sober
Jay-Z – 30 Something
Ludacris – Money Maker
Beyonce – Irreplaceable (catchy tune although not very pro-male)
Rick Springfield – Jessie's Girl
